ATTENTION:  Seniors and Business Owners
BEWARE   SCAM  ALERT

The Marlborough Resident Troopers Office has issued the following SCAM Advisory

Persons posing as power company representatives are contacting seniors and business owners by phone advising them they failed to sign their payment checks and if payment is not received immediately, power will be shut off. They are then asked for a debit card for immediate payment thereby gaining access to personal funds.  You should "not" provide personal debit card information to anyone posing as a utility company representative over the phone.
